Why This Work Matters to Me

I grew up in a small town, surrounded by community, compassion, and a home that was always open to others. My parents fostered children and taught me the value of showing up for people, even when things were hard. That shaped me.

As a young single mom, I hustled through multiple jobs to support my kids. I went to college (twice), chased promotions, and checked all the boxes—but something always felt off.

The turning point came after having my son. I woke up one day knowing I couldn’t keep playing “small”. I was undervalued, overworked, and done with trying to squeeze myself into spaces that weren’t made for me.

So I built my own.

And now I help others do the same.
